Opening Prayer Club Updates Creative Society: Working with Carter, Amir, and Social branch to plan open-mic night, organizing returning members, planning a meeting with Asst. director and sponsor Black Student Union: BSU Showcase yesterday, went well, working on setting up stations for walk on Saturday and planning further events JU Improv Team: push back rehearsals for next week 3 for Free – time to express concerns about campus Creekside Bridge is rickety Skunk smell Social Update Teddy: Social VP Next Tuesday; Portillo’s Freshman intern application, 2 positions available to get new members for next semester Open-mic night at the end of the Month with Creative Society, Amir, and Carter Adv

Opening Prayer Club Updates Black Student Union: social media page created and received confirmation from University, BIPOC week showcase sign ups, organizing getting MC’s, facility request still recruiting participants, working on logo with Nina that fits within brand guidelines for social media Judson Creative Society: Reached out to returning members to confirm participation, appointed Carista Ritchie as assistant director, received social media information and logos from previous director, Tiger. Currently organizing a group chat, meeting with Melissa and Carista and a full team meeting. Working with Carter and Amir to partner for an open-mic night JU Improv: hosting auditions for Wednes


Join us the week of October 5-10 for Judson’s first BIPOC Week brought to you by JSO and BSU. The week will serve as a time to empower and promote awareness for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color on Judson University’s campus through communal events that support and celebrate customs and traditions of BIPOC communities on and off-campus. Monday through Saturday, the following events will occur: Monday, October 5  The Taste of Elgin The Fitness Center, 5-7 p.m. Judson Students and Staff are invited to meet members of local BIPOC-owned businesses and restaurants as they enjoy the food and culture of the Elgin area. Opening Prayer Club Updates Judson Bike Club, Judson Creative Society Black Student Union: first meeting was good, students and faculty attended, in 2 weeks, there will be the next meeting, preparing for BIPOC Week JU Improv: planning auditions in October, planning to do more outside shows this semester 3 for Free – time to express concerns about campus International students coming for commencement, would have been nice to have a room to change clothes or stay before/after event Football Scrimmage did not appear to follow the same protocols/guidelines we have to for our events – some people did not feel comfortable/safe Social Update Teddy: Social VP Mini-Golf: This Saturday Chick-fil-A:
